About Me!

Hello! My name is Samantha Rich, and I’m an actor/singer/strong mover based in the San Francisco Bay Area (born and raised!) I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University in New York, where I received my B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and minored in Musical Theatre. Some highlights include playing Lucy in The Threepenny Opera and singing soprano in the mixed-voice acapella group The Hofbeats.

Since graduating I am thrilled to be back in the Bay, and dream of being fully bi-coastal in the future. Some of my favorite Bay Area credits are Mary in Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley and understudying Mary Robert in Sister Act. I’m also an alumn of A.C.T’s Young Conservatory, where I performed in their cabaret groups for 2 years. When I’m not performing I teach K-12 students at Musical Theatre Works and Inspire Music in SF.

Whether it be powerful leaders or quirky sidekicks, I love telling the stories of all different kinds of characters. I strive to leave the audience wanting more regardless of the role. Most importantly, I bring an open mind and enthusiastic attitude to the rehearsal room to help foster an environment that is both collaborative and positive.
